SAP MDG Architect

Position: SAP MDG Master Data Architec
Employment Type: Permanent
Location: Bad Vilbel, Germany - remote to be confirmed, occasional travel might be required
Type: Full-time (40 hours per week)
Language: Fluent in English, German knowledge preferred

Focus on SAP is a specialist SAP Recruitment organization offering both permanent and contract staffing solutions on a global scale.

Responsibilities:

• Design and create concepts for the new Master Data Governance solution.
• Develop workflows for Material, Customer, Vendor, and Finance data.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders across functional areas and countries.
• Create architectural and solution designs for transitioning to S/4 HANA.
• Expand and update system architecture, including interface configurations.
• Contribute to developing a business partner concept for the S/4 HANA environment.
• Manage relationships with internal business units and external partners.
• Report to the Head of Central Master Data Management.

Requirements:

• Degree in (business) informatics, industrial engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in international settings and working with distributed teams.
• Proficiency in SAP Master Data Processes.
• Familiarity with SAP MDG or other MDG solutions (e.g., TIBCO, STIBO).
• Understanding of Business Partner Concepts.
• Knowledge of architectural options for Master Data systems.
• Experience with S4/HANA and/or other SAP transformation projects.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or similar sectors is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute innovative ideas.
• Fluent in English; German proficiency is preferred.
